The Black Liberation Pooled Fund (BLPF) pools resources to allocate to the powerful ecosystem of Black-led social change organizations around the country. Through multi-year grants, the BLPF will fund Black resistance organizing, invest in the development of Black futures, and support the development of Black movement infrastructure.
The BLPF encourages proposals from both long-term anchor movement partners working towards Black Liberation and smaller, innovative, start-up organizations who are rounding out the broader ecosystem of Black-led movement building. We seek to support a movement ecosystem by funding:
- Movement groups - directly supporting individual organizations or projects that are developing a thriving Black-led ecosystem.
- Regranting vehicles - supporting organizations or projects that are rooted in and governed by Black community leaders, and redistributing resources within their communities.
